This is basically horror to me, idk why some people seem to expect romance?? This is a perfectly written psychological horror. The real question is: what would you do if you were in his situation? Rebel until you get beaten into a pulp to the point you can't move? Try to find a way to kill the person? Report to the police (more like, try to do it, you know how r4pe cases go, sadly)? Run away/find a way to change cities and abandon your life? Give up, as in, you know, die? Give in, as in, you know, abandon all hope and develop Stockholm syndrom over the kidnapper? Try to manipulate them into thinking you got the syndrom? I personally geniuinely don't know what I'd do. Probably all of the above at some point..
