Stop throwing that term around just bc Twitter tells you dating a minor is pedophilia. You really are going to tell me that attraction to a 16 year old is the same as attraction to a 7 years old? Really? You people really believe that? You people really think dating a 16 years old is as morally wrong as dating a 7 years old? And that attraction to a 16 years old is as disturbing as attraction to a 7 years old? Of course you don't, but somehow the Internet has brainwashed all of you to treat 18 as the magical cutoff where everyone below 18 has the same mental capacity and agency, and thus dating anyone below 18 makes one a pedo.
On the other hand, 20yr old dating a 16 year old is still freaking weird and not okay. But stop calling the teacher a pedo. This is the reason why assholes are going around beating 19 years old up for trying to date 17 years old/ 18 years old.
