Uh-help me, I don't understand what does this even mean

Jasper April 24, 2025 4:16 am

I clearly stated that i'm not an atheist by saying: "nor am I an atheist"
But a reader started leashing at me saying,
"I am an atheist and that why do I knw about christian or catholic knowledge or the bible, and also I'm not supposed to respect the religion but believe it. And that I am a "fraud"(not a real atheist)"

HELP

i think it was just confusion, when you said "nor" it can be taken as a negative statement. im using google to explain this next part; nor is used to introduce a further negative statement. for example "the struggle did not end, nor was it any less diminished"

but that second part of what they said killed my brain so idk

Oh so it's used in grammar actually where we try to say 'i don't like both/I don't do both'
"Neither & nor": 'i like neither coffe nor tea'
Where nor is also used in single words to say (no i don't like tea)

yeah, but if you aren't an atheist and you said "nor am i an atheist" you were right in what you said... just kinda depends of what you said in front of that statement -- i think

I was shocked tbh when they started saying "I am an atheist but a fraud one"
    Like gurll~
    I ain't even one of em ಥ‿ಥ
(I was also talking about a certain 'title' not the charcters of the Manhwa but then the same person said "I'm homophobic"....then why am I reading bL? I'm hella confuse on why they didn't read it properly)

Oh it was just an opinion of mine, Nothin deep but the others are rather taking it very deeply (though I mentioned it's not that deep)
A person was trying to compare "priest" to "holy spirit"
Which in terms are quite different.
(I was explaining the difference between a holy spirit and a priest because they're a whole different thing and talked about sins since a priest is a human who is given a certain role but they are not completely wash away from sins but a holy spirit is a divine entity which can never be corrupted)
But I guess comprehension left the chat

I guess they thought I was talking about the character of the manhwa (which I'm not, rather explaining the difference between a priest and a holy spirit)
Uh- soo I don't knw, after explaining this one of them said I'm writing an essay....(Weird people who doesn't even know the difference and yet after telling them doesn't want to knw it)

    Gurl,
I kept telling them it's not that deep...
And that it was just my opinion because like, I'm rather very respectfully of other's religion and beliefs.
I always hear my friend say (in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit) so I talked about the title being oddly weird to ME. I never mentioned the charcters but they just keep going on to their own conclusions.....messing up what I'm trying to ACTUALLY say:(

Sounds like they misread your statement. However, I do agree with the overall sentiment that calling a tiger spirit a holy spirit is not disrespectful to Christianity. Perhaps divine spirit would be more suitable but it's really not that big of a deal imo.

Oh no no no that's not what I meant.
The manhwa said it was a tiger spirit but the title said "holy spirit" so I was like 'oink?'
It just oddly weirded me that's all Nothin deep.
I didn't really tried to drag the characters into it.
I only meant the title but I guess they misunderstood.

    And once again.( ̄∇ ̄")
I'm seriously bad at explaining but to clear out what I actually meant when I tried talking about the holy spirit thingy.
"I don't really meant that the tiger spirit shud not be regarded as a holy spirit (NO). What I meant was ONLY the title of the manhwa which was odd to ME. To ME it was like, the cover of the page was written as 'THE HOLY BIBLE' (just an example I don't really mean this too) but as I open it, I found all the erotic stuffs which is totally not at all what the title meant."

This is all what I meant, never really was deep~
( ̄∇ ̄") (I also didn't mention the character, ye in one of the comment I did meant 'it was a tiger spirit' but it wasn't meant for trying to say it shud not be used or to refer as holy spirit, I only said that bcoz it didn't make sense, tiger spirit are supposed to be called as "divine spirit" not holy. It also fine to call it as holy, I don't see no wrong in it but a 'holy spirit' is considered very HOLY and pure so I(me) found it odd, nothing deep~)
