Yup, I’d normally dislike him too, but from what we’ve seen so far, she’s just hugging her own pain. So I welcome the pressure.
I don’t mind Hong Tabin specifically because I believe she needs to be pushed. Her desire to wallow in her own suffering and punish herself is just hiding. That’s all she’s doing. If he irritates her and forces her to be more introspective and reminds her of her former self, then I’m all for it. She doesn’t need to be how she was before, she just needs to stop hiding. And hperhaps, with time, she’ll stop having panick attacks as well.
