I guess its kinda like the sence of making art, you don't make the clay or the marble but you sculptand create the sculpture, so similarly while her father did help create a living breathing being, he only like provided the materials while MI lan "scuplt and created it" if that makes sence
I never understood Mi Lan's argument that her father never created a living breating being, cause you exist you know, your father is one of the people who made you, if it weren't for him you wouldn't be born, so that logic is extremly stupid ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
