I mean short stories can still be considered wholesome. It being wholesome doesn’t mean the story/relationship is well written. Just that there’s no conflict in the story

Wait I don’t get how it gave childbride vibes? Wasn’t the initial thoughts of the ML, thinking he could use the mc and eat/kill him to get power? ML never even thought of love or MC like that. Then he handed the kid mc to the long haired dude. 40 years passed and then the MC and ML met again. So MC is at least over 40 years old in current time lol
