honestly, it's kind of a shame, if you pushed through you'd get to a better place. but i do agree that the exposition part of the story is too long
Fls reason to hate him was dry tbh. They had some serious misunderstandings, but unlike other misunderstanding-tropes, they cleared it all through talking (didn't expect that bc the characters are 'lacking', huh) but unfortunately you couldn't witness it due to prejudice. Art is satisfying for the eyes, story has depths, characters are character-ing, idk what else you expect.
Also, you're kind of contradicting your own statement..
Dropping this at ch 12 bc all the characters lack any critical thinking, and the MC is rightful to hate the ml and his bro but they act like she's a bitch for not loving him
And also she's like really stupid
