I absolutely agree. It's much easier for MC to fall in love naturally than to force it on him saying that they're both namers. I doubt MC would have believed him anyway.
It's more about it being something important to MC, it doesn't concern only ML. Anyone would wish to know about something that is considered so important in their world like that, even if it makes it "awkward"
Your opinion does make sense but I think it depends on how we see the situation.
It is indeed an important thing in their world, but I'm focusing more of MC already think so much about this and that especially after he saw the internet comments.
If I were him, being told 'You are a namer and I'm your partner' by ML after getting seduced like that will only make me think 'oh so you only want to get close to me since I'm your namer partner', not because of the way I am'
I don't understand why people dislike ML for keeping the secret.
I mean, even without knowing that he's a namer, MC already overthinks any future possibilities. What will happen if he knows? He'll overthink a lot of things more. It's actually betterfor them to develop serious feelings towards esch other and let the truth naturally came out.
Or.... what, should ML told him 'my name is written on the inner side of your butt' when he saw it and they're not even dating? Won't it make the situation to be reaaaally awkward? Imagine the embarrassment that MC will feel
