Idk if I’m wrong since I’m not gonna reread this but from what I know the loop reset only happens when MC is rejected by ML, hence the multiple loops of him getting rejected. Now on the loop MC decides he’ll no longer confess/like ML the loop doesn’t end because he hasn’t gotten rejected and ML is beginning to like the MC. The loop is not a plot hole, the story is basically giving him infinite chances to get with ML, that’s why around the end of s1 when MC confesses as a joke the current loop doesn’t end. The story is very cute, the couple have better chemistry than some couples that actually kiss in other stories lol. The ending doesn’t seem rushed either, the story itself is not really full of drama for it to require a convoluted ending, it’s good for what it is.
