I also hate the slavery part. The power hierarchy is so messed up. How the f can a vassal family pressure the Duke? Noble titles are absolute power. It's basically their reputation. They're vassal families for a reason. It just shows, really, that Dimitri is also being looked down. Why does everyone just get to barge in their lives and disrespect them? Even the king disregarded them, despite being a Ducal family.
ML is a grumpy cat, and traumatized. He's conditioned to buckle in when it comes to his stepmother and grandmother. But tbh, he needs to man up for the MC. She can't take the battle alone, even endangering herself for the sake of advantage. She took that risk because she's not brave enough to talk back. and stand up for herself.
I wish the MC still got at least the OG Lewayne's boldness. Not only did she acted completely opposite, but gave away everything right at some point. She could've acted as if she's the same person still, and used it to her advantage. But no, not only did her interest clashed with the original, she really became the opposite.
I hate how easily that Elbas old peeps could've been defeated, if she just used her brain. She can't even stand up to herself. She was undermined of her position, just because she was younger. She got the title, why the heck does she need to apologize for being right? Just for some damn lilies. I like the story, yes. The ML is adorable, and so are the cats. She's also relatable. But she's weak, despite claiming having the villainess' body. Everyone just looked down on her despite being such a btch of a person prior to MC's transmigration.
