It may seem a little bit cliche at the beginning but it builds up the plot and becomes a better story overall with tons of heartbreak and a few sad backstories.

im on like ch 46 and like throughout it i feel like the style changed a lot cause there was so much comedy in the start with the story telling and then it just changed later on when the mc became emo, and his character kinda changed and stuff i understand like yeah but the story didn't really shift into that really well it did become funnier later and like i could feel the aspects of comedy from at the start but like its a bit hard to continue cause its just a bit boring and its like the plot hasnt really made me interested in it tbh so far, it was the comedic elements doing it for me and its here now but the story is just generic where im reading its just not as interesting as i thought it'd be
