ngl im gonna guess he figured out his mom was wrong in the time before he lost his memories and that’s why he did confess to his beta partner. also the reason he probs grew up hating betas is because his beta father ended up distancing himself and treating him coldly when he was a kid and it was his mother who stayed with him and kept telling him that betas are bad which is also why he always feels he can’t go against her. she kinda just raised him up making him believe betas are bad and probs saying stuff like if his father hadn’t cheated (even tho she did too) their family would’ve been fine or wtv. but yeah it’s mainly just an adult having manipulated a child for a long time that guided his thinking that way. I’m not saying he’s a good person bc obviously the alpha became terrible after losing his memories but there’s a reason he’s became that way , tho it also doesn’t excuse his actions.
