I was also wondering about that too. Also, i feel like mc move on to fast, or maybe he just have not fall in love with ml yet in the first arc. Like how he doesn't seem to concern or ask questions much about ml in the first arc when he sacrificed himself for mc. Like he only ask once and was like oh, okay. And that it.
I like the story, however there’s one thing that bothers me. It’s how they end each arc. So far I’ve seen 3 arc endings and each one ended in a way where it’s kind of an open ending. They don’t show you even a little bit of what happens after the end. It’s really unsatisfying.

So the first arc ends where the ML sacrifices himself for MC but says he disappears and is wanted by the system. That’s it. Then they move onto the next world.
Second arc has MC get killed as ML shouts out for him, distraught. Moves onto the next world.
Third arc MC leaves ML and 2nd ML and there’s no confrontation between them before even leaves. Just saying words of what will happen and then MC moves onto the next world.
It’s unfortunate cause other system stories usually give you some info or closure to each arc. But this one makes it so you know nothing after each arc. I wished we got actual scenes showing the two leads faces
