I hope her brother won't be too disappointed when he founds out his boyfriend might be a girlfriend lol. Best of both worlds?

    Nah to be honest think it served it's life lesson perfectly. She was taught wonderfully despite it not being real. I actually might steal this idea to use in the real world.

    I see how its a plot device, I just find it boring and overused. I say let women be disfigured and still deeply loved by the ML. Id prefer if it wasn't a lesson ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    Realistically a scar as severe as hers would need long term care and she might have gone blind in her left eye. I don't think faking what is effectively a disability irl as a life lesson is a good idea either tbh, plenty of real people are already experiencing discrimination for it

    yea i get that. but i would be nice to have an actually disfigured fl in a romance for once (who doesn't get magically healed later)
