Remilia is happy, the devil is happy, who are we to say that their happiness is fake?
I can see some connections with the topic of masks in literature. We show people a mask, but what is beneath? Our real self or nothing at all? Remilia is happy that the devil loves Emi's Remilia because she wants to put that mask on until it actually becomes hers.
Personally, apart from the villanious character which was way over the top, this manga is quite interesting from a literary point of view.
