Still I think my point stands. He may not be stronger than the esper uke or have superpowers, but he is still seen as valuable by society. He is still super respected and never mistreated. He is never seen as less than the esper. At least that’s what I remember from that manhwa…I havent read it in a while.
Usually, from what I noticed, when the guides are bottoms everyone treats them like s**t or they are never really seen as valuable as the espers.
Ofc this doesn’t only happen on guides/espers types of manhwas/mangas. I see this disparity and unbalanced power dynamics often in yaoi. So not really surprised anymore ahah.
When uke are the guides they get mistreated all the time, they’re usually weak lil sh*ts and only ever useful when playing nurse to seme. Insteeead when the roles are reversed suddenly guides are powerful asf and they get superpowers as well (they can even create some fking oceans)!
