cause it happens so many time in these Bl stories where they have this supposed friend that happens to be a woman and for some reason people will find a way to unnecessarily drag her. Like yea i admit she was a bit unreasonable. but i found shittier Ml's that have her attitude and instead use blackmail for their personal gain on their own love interest. (no good examples btw just a comparison)
also this happened in this manga called "our sunny days" where they were calling a minor a bitch all because she didn't understand why the main characters were gay, and kinda judged them at first, it's just one of the examples from the top of my head

And BL mcs usually have a gay bestie or female bestie, and if they do smth wrong (in the audience's eyes) then the readers call them out. Yeah, it's usually a girl that gets in the way of the MC's story, but that's just BL logic. It's also common in romance. Ngl, being a BL mc's bestie prob means they won't get much development anyway
she didn't even snitch by sayibg that arim liked him BUT she confirmed that taehoon liked him, and she didn't tell him instantly too she made him guess after she was sure that taehoon would be good for arim. And she eventually let out a tip that "he likes people who are honest" to help them out.. but okayyy hate on women
