I love toxic relationships in stories too yk. But this one ain't it, both actively ruin n torment each other for their own twisted reasons (ML's control issues and MC's jealousy)
But to say there's love when the love interest in question want to rape you 24/7 ain't it, want to "train" you into submission ain't it and actively isolate you so you can stay at home, look pretty and "ready to be raped" ain't it.
ML talks A LOT about wanting to rape MC, and he did and does that many times in the story while MC screaming No until he passes out n still being raped by ML

Finished the novel, this is DEFINITELY NOT a love story.
This is a Karmic af relationship, both deserve each other for how bad of a person they are.
ML a certified psychopath who's cold n indifferent to others even if they're dying in front of him, even if he has to sell his own parents for his own benefits.
MC is a pretentious person, doesn't give a fuck about his own friend but when he found out he's lied by ML. He uses his "friend" as the reason to hate ML while continue to be jealous of his dead friend in his head.
