what's a sub drop?
Sometimes, when a sub engages in play they experience a sense of euphoria with a bunch of endorphins rushing through them. Aftercare is not just to help them physically but also to help them emotionally by coaxing them gradually down from that high. Refusing to do all that can result in the sub suddenly coming down from that high which can result in distress within them and depressive thoughts, such as them thinking they’re a failure. In other words, it’s a literal drop in emotions. Going from super happy and satisfied to sad and anxiety-ridden.
