We have not been shown what their exact relationship status was when younger alpha left to study abroad. & I’m believing they weren’t in a relationship cuz why wouldn’t younger alpha not rush back to Korea when omegas mom died? That’s one of the main reason omega started sleeping with sunbae alpha cuz he was alone & depressed
