No. It's gender bender due to the whole premise and it's literally in the title (dragon+phoenix). Most cn manhwa have rapey MLs and annoying mary sue FLs and one dimensional side characters who are just villainous types. But this one is really refreshing and fun to read, with the cool FL and prettyboy feminine ML, not to mention a taller FL. Chinese manhwa will never have taller FLs so this is super rare. The side characters Shengbing and Sha dandan have their own motivation to excel in their career and don't solely serve as romantic foil or plot progression npcs
