Long Ass Questions (10+)

Edit: the more I learn, the more my chest seems to hurt, literal sharp pains in left. Have to remind myself all of this is lines of drawing, not real. I have a love hate relationship with the author.✍

Sorry to bother. Extremely sorry. I tried to read and understand, but I guess I couldn’t. I don't expect one to answer all of this, so you can answer ones you know.

So MC cheated (well with consent I guess..) with the boss first and had sex, because he liked the boss and it was to punish ML for cheating?

1. In the last chapter of side story (4), why did MC kiss the manager/boss’s son?

2. Does the boss’s son like MC?

3. Why does MC think ML would leave and fall for someone? (Side 2)

4. Why does ML believe that MC can’t refuse once the boss sets his mind to it? Mind to what?Sex? And why does ML believe that the boss is MC’s ideal type? Is that true.

5. Did MC really move on from the boss? Or is he just keeping the picture of him and Jing Oh as a keepsake of memory? (CH 60)

6. How many years did the boss and MC stay together before goodbye?

7. While walking forward (Side 4), MC held his hand back, and ML went and held it. And since the boss’s son potentially likes MC, would MC reciprocate even if with ML and the debt of cheating has cleared?

8. In chapter (57), it’s mentioned that the first time for MC was with his high school teacher? Did I understand that correctly?

9. ML said in chapter (57), “This man (boss) won’t take MC away from me.” + “But erasing his (boss) imprints from MC’s life will be impossible.” Why does he believe that? Is he saying that MC won’t move on from the boss?

10. The boss says that although MC may have changed a bit, he taught MC after all. I don’t remember, but were him and MC together before this 3 way arrangement?

11. In chapter (52), did ML cheat again with a guy this time? He says he met him at a club. I thought he only slept with a woman once. ML had sent a message to MC about “if you’re not going to act like a real partner, back off. Etc…”. He quickly called MC and told him the message wasn’t for him.

So if it was just a one time cheat with the guy at club, why would ML say: “if you’re not going to act like a real partner”?

Someone also said: “Actually they showed the panel of him going with that dude in the club a lot of chapters ago so I'm guessing he's been with him since then.”
—So ML has been with that dude more than once??
Was this all during ML and MC’s separation of 3 months or more?

MC told him that it’s fine and that he can cheat. ML asked: So if I’m with someone, you don’t mind? —Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it sounds like he would cheat if MC says it’s okay. And it seems like MC collapsed and had panic attack.

Honestly I don’t feel bad anymore that MC slept with the boss. ML had it coming.

11. In chapter (56), MC said after he suggested to break up, he felt like the day when he confessed to ML, thrilling. Does he mean he feels free?

Thank you!! Any other answers are fine!

Someone answered me these, so you don’t have to answer those (@BoxHeadIdiot):

    1. “Yes, he did have feelings for the boss while his bf was away, but he held back because he was committed—and also scared. The boss reminded him of the teacher who assaulted him in high school, so there was some trauma tied in there too.”

    2. “BJ? When? From what I understand, he slept with the Team Leader a few times during the whole “sharing” phase, before the TL left and he got back with his boyfriend”. (I replied that it was actually the ML, I just got confused.)

    3. “He kissed the son just to tease him—kind of like a way to challenge him to grow up. It wasn’t meant to be taken seriously or as a sign of a real relationship.”

    4. “The kid definitely has a crush on Tae-heun. Whether that turns into something more, we’ll never really know. But to me, he still seems like a teenager going through a horny phase—so probably just a crush for now.”

    5. “Tae-heun felt guilty toward Yeong-eun just like Yeong-eun felt guilty toward him. What YE did was clearly more abusive and damaging, but Tae-heun felt like YE had always been there for him when he was at his worst—while Tae-heun couldn’t do the same. He thinks he pushed YE into becoming abusive, and even after everything, YE still wants to stay by his side. That’s why Tae-heun thought that if he really loved YE, he should let him go and be with someone better—

But in the last chapter (c60), YE said he doesn’t feel miserable—in fact, he thinks he deserves everything because he made Tae-heun suffer even more. He also said Tae-heun is the only one who can forgive him, so they should stick together as family. Personally, I see this as a co-dependent relationship. It’s not exactly healthy or something to admire, but in their case, it works.”

    6. “I think Tae-heun only had some lingering feelings for the Team Leader. Their “cheating” didn’t seem that deep—it felt more playful than emotional. The way Tae-heun reached out his hand to YE at the end is a key clue. In the past, he was always closed off and shy about their relationship, often pushing YE away. But now, he openly showed he cared and wanted YE to feel included—especially since YE seemed like an outsider in that moment. That really shows growth of their relationship.”

I really don't understand mc and ml way of thinking.
Ml clearly genuinely love mc but i have a doubt for the mc? Because it feels like its easy for him to cheat with anyone while keeping ml by his side.
I wish, they let each other go for good.

They have a codependent relationship. And it was ML that cheated first, more than once too. I had thought ML only cheated once with the lady in the lounge, but he had also cheated again while he and MC were apart for a few months.

So the more you learn and dive into, I can’t get upset that MC slept with one guy that wasn’t ML. I think MC only slept with the boss. Both of them yearns for each other but believes both will leave each other.

MC didn’t force ML by his side, he suggested to break up. It was when MC had a panic attack or heart problems being triggered after ML had accidentally sent a message that wasn’t meant for MC, but to his lover (guy he met at club).

The only reason ML let the boss enter MC’s life for sexual stuff is because he thinks MC can find comfort in the boss, and because ML is guilty of cheating so it’s like: “Since I cheated, you can.”

Both love each other bur hurt each other. It’s hard for me to understand why they would keep each other, I do believe that separating for good would be a refreshing end but realistically, many abusive couples stay together till end of their time.

The situation of the three became more clear to me.

You analyze this complicated story in the way I simply understand. And thanks for clarifying that mc has a love for ml because i really thought hes just there because there is no choice.

Maybe because I never read it thoroughly.

Oh please, I didn’t read properly so I had all those questions, you’re not alone .

Both of them love each other a lot but misunderstandings, pain…

For #11 in my post, @BoxHeadIdiot replied: “I believe YE only cheated before Tae-heun had his breakdown. That harsh text—"If you’re not going to act like a real partner…"—was actually sent by YE’s lover, not YE himself. The guy probably took YE’s phone and sent it out of jealousy. YE panicked, seemed to push the other guy away, and kept apologizing to Tae-heun, but Tae-heun just responded really casually, which threw YE off. That’s why he asked, “So you’re okay with me being with someone else...?” Tae-heun was too proud to admit he was jealous, but that moment made him realize how strongly he felt about YE.
Imo, YE cheated not because he stopped loving Tae-heun, but because his love wasn’t strong enough—and he was too weak to resist temptation. That’s also why he was able to forget his "secret lover" so easily afterward.”

Omg! I love you for explaining this. Now I can reread this story with an open mind and with less heavy heart. And you know what, I learned from this explanation that love is not enough. We should love our other significant with respect, loyalty, confidence and trust. But I also learned we are still human, we have own weaknesses and sad background affects how we treat each other.

You’re right, just love isn’t enough which sounds sad. Commitment, trust and communication are top three critical relationship needs. I can’t reread this, I’m not ready to, good for you to reread . I didn’t go to fiction stories to read this amount of angst and realism, too much for my heart.
