Yeah, at least in my country it is called Takeshi's Castle
ages ago, in the US around 2002 or so, it got "dubbed" and was put on some low-end cable channel I can't remember the name of that isn't around anymore and it was called "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge" or "MXC". The announcers got named Rick Romano and Kenny Blankenship. I put dubbed in quotes because it wasn't translated at all. the dialogue was just removed and english dialogue was put in. similar in spirit to the Bad Lip Reading youtube channel. It was hilarious.
Did someone have a same thought as me?
