Y'all

It's a story of failure that blooms a wonderful ending.

Another work that proves nothing can top a Shounen-Ai when it's paired with Horror. Japanese Story Telling is truly something else.

Yall may think Hayato's decision was infuriating, because it is. That's the reality. Modern Japan is still considered homophobic and conservative. Now think how it is for gay couples centuries ago (considering they're all from prominent clans) I actually applaud they even manage to squeeze that topic on to the story.

This ain't a webtoon where all male characters are gay. Y'all gotta appreciate realism sometimes.

I don't think most of them aren't mad about hayato decision but more mad about the reason is hayato leave touma without telling anything only to send him letter through servant and he didn't even tell anything touma about reason why he got married so ofc it's reasonable for touma to feel betrayed

Yeah, all of his decision still falls with my statement.

I mean yes, It's due to him being a coward somehow. But ultimately, He couldn't afford to raise anymore suspicion, considering her fiance's family are basically the early members of Yakuzas lol.

What he thought was for Touma safety was wrong, it's plain tragedy that birth this wonderful plot.

Early Yazuka was something not to be messed with, especially a beloved daughter of one. They probably would had to leave Japan, go into hiding and get rid of their names, or double suicide. Because of the power they held.
