I really like how mc uses his transformation as a get outta jail free card whenever someones trying to restrain him. Turning into a 5lb puppy isnt exactly good for fighting, but being able to instantaneously shrink down to a fraction of your size is certainly helpful for evasion. And i like how his human form is not default weaker than every other character. Like he cant 1v1 a wolf but he can punch a mf when theyre both human. I just love how instead of making him cutesy/helpless in every situation, they really leaned into the "small angry dog" trope; he is willing to fight anybody, no matter the size difference, and once you gain his trust he is ride or die. If seme gets into a fight hes never gonna try and hold him back, hes going to join the fight
