I think the reason the relationship progression is fast burn might be because the manga is only 7 chapters long… just a thought.

theres other manga out there that have less chapters, but they manage to have good paced and nicely written relationships and characters just fine. it being short is legit not an excuse. we didnt even have a moment of realization in shige's case, he just acted all possessive and jealous in one moment then suddenly says hes in love with yoichi the next. thats not good writing, not to mention the OTHER shitty things hes done to yoichi.
They can add as many pages as they want to a manga chapter! There is no particular limit when it comes to manga! Its traditionally about 10-15 pages when digital, this isn't exactly an excuse/nm
Yeah, felt you on that. And the fact that after he know yoichi feeling he went into it half heartedly and saying shit like “might” be in love with yoichi is pissing me the fuck off. I understand that kind of the plot of story but idk, shige attitude is so nonchalantly but not in a good way, I guess selfish in term of only think of himself instead of what kind of situation he is putting yoichi in, and this consider he said he care about yoichi. Dude just because he gay doesn’t mean is fucking okay with you sucking his dick and fucking him. I mean it a nice unrequited love manga but dam shige is getting on my last nerve at the beginning.

And the switch up was crazy, how u go from "I'm just curious" to "I'm in love with u" in 1 chap with no character development? And he didn't even start with "I'm in love with u", Shige said "U like me cuz I said so and u can't b with anyone else cuz I said so" before saying he loves him. Bruh

might be reading too much into this, but am i the only one who got icked out by their relationship progression i mean, shige was just so?? infuriating??? ik its probably bc we didnt see much of his pov abt yoichi until like. ch 6. but still! he had sex w yoichi even tho he said no MULTIPLE TIMES, and did it again while he was fucking DRUNK and VULNERABLE. then he has the bALLS to wonder why yoichi wants to avoid him and gets possessive over him even tho he never stopped to even consider his bsf's feelings UNTIL THE VERY END.
