I was talking to someone about this cause I thought it was a simple solution. Apparently it’s not just that they’re obeying his orders, the sacrifice is also benefiting them as well so they wouldn’t want the sacrifices to stop

My theory the God will come down to the family saying "the sacrifice can stop now because I found my fated omega". then side stories they had a child though magic and fuck in Ruth and heat.
