Brett is full on doing his own justice, he said the blood Hayden shed shouldn't be only years added to his sentence, so he started with that, I think he's willing to testify for him so that he gets out from prison in some years and then punish him by his own standards (no wonder Hayden is getting confused and angry panel after panel)
I agree with the other person, it's eye for an eye. Brett always try to handle his problems within his own power. For example when he got raped he didn't report it to the police and instead took care of it by himself to keep possibilities open. I'm sure he will get back to the senator later with his own way
Please enlighten me, why Brett wanted alexander marbo to shoot himself right where Hayden was shot? I thought that he's a rational kind of person who hates to waste his time so the deal must benefit him in some ways right??? But to me he just got dragged to even more problems
