This last sentence is exceptional, YES!
I know it feels dramatic as fuck that he’s just throwing himself into the forest to either a) get kidnapped/killed by the family again and swapped out for another sacrifice who won’t jeopardize the family hold over Mugo or b) caught/punished by Mugo but… his actions aren’t crazy.
Brother is def having a panic attack and certainly has PTSD/CPTSD from his upbringing so he is in flight mode. He was just threatened by his abuser (family head) and DID ask for help from who he views as a guardian (Mugo) who has shut him down callously.
Granted, Ja Heon has asked Mugo to consume him multiple times and this likely didn’t strike Mugo as noteworthy, however I feel that this personality is particularly indifferent to his emotions. Anyways, looking forward to how the characters grow from each other and the plot thickens~
