It's been a while since I have read a story like this. The consideration about how one feels when they are in such situation is so good. It almost feels like they are actually human. I love that daija doesn't turn into a human, unlike so many other stories that do that and then its like a mediocre love story. I love the way they portray real human reactions towards murder, assault, and monsters. It's quite refreshing
