Her guard can understand her bc she’s a swordmaster and I think the previous king is too?? I think they mentioned that being an strong aura master or whatever gives you the same affinity as being a mage so sword masters don’t need a translator
Her guard can hear her because she's an aura user. Not because she a sword master. If that were the case, I'm sure there's plenty sword masters in the military somewhere. None of the knights who went with the emperor to rescue the princess could understand her. He said he brought the best nights for the task. Idk tho
