He absolutely would not consider. Jaekyoung is OBSESSED with Jiheon, like to an almost unhealthy degree. Once they get together he only has Jiheon vision. We never even hear about the actor again. Don't even feel bad for the actor, he knows everything and teases Jaekyoung about it.
If it helps you feel better, he met someone who had the same look and vibe as Jiheon and he just couldn't perform. It won't work if it's not Jiheon. (Pun very much intended)

I’m still reading the novel rn, and in chapter 49, there’s another one Noah said “And I never had the thought of intentionally wanting to have se* with someone who looked like him either.” Kinda show like Jaekyoung had that thought but AHH. SORRYYY NO NEED TO MIND ME. Maybe he was just provoking Jiheon. I’m gonna just continue reading and tryna forget about it

I haven't finished the novel, but I did read that that was his intention at first, of he couldn't have the real thinh he would settled for someone similar, and he thought that might help him stop thinking about his Hyung, but it backfired.
He found someone similar physically and he wanted to at least do it with him, but he couldn't stop thinking about his Hyung and how different they were and even when he wanted to forget Jiheon it happened the opposite and he couldn't stop thinking about him, he even thought about him more, so in the end nothing happened with the dude that looked like Jiheon, so don't worry, Jaek's first time is with Jiheon

AH I STILL LIKE THE STORY BUT I’m quite frustrated. I tend to overthink things, like chap 41 novel, mentioned like that Jaekyoung refused to see that actor guy but saw his photo and think he looks similar to Jiheon so he went to meet him. But found out their look and whole vibe are totally different. So what? Like what if he actually look like and similar? Will Jaekyoung actually consider?
Can’t help but feel a bit disappointed and frustrated. I just dislike the type of like replacement story… mb I was overthinking even when nth going on, but stillllll
