I would say it is a good read because they solved the drama without the same cliches like a ridiculous time skip
I personally found it very boring and also didn't find it realistic how they didnt date earlier
I mean, tons of people don’t date their friends/crushes out of worry of being rejected if they ever tried stepping in that direction, at least they resolved their situation quickly.
I don't have issues with quick resolutions but it feels like author picked pointers that could be interesting for the story and never really worked further on them.. we see a glimps of yandere mc or ml on occassions, its never addressed again, we see marking but they never elaborate how it happened, we just know Joon marked Hyun instead of Hyun marking Joon. No explainations.
Personally I don’t feel the need for an explanation over the marking, he was obviously interested in him. It was insinuated by their friends why an alpha would mark him. I don’t need to be spoon fed information, I assume based on context. Not everything has to be spelled out.
If you like childhood friends with mutual pining then go for it.
