I was scared as hell because the premise is super sketchy, but this is actually a pretty good story, I loved the storytelling here. Both main characters are pretty misogynistic bc of their own trauma (which is understandable, but not excusable) but it's not as if they're ever, at any given time, painted to be morally corrected - it's quite the opposite, in fact - so I don't see why this is being held against the story itself. I for one hate people who are as possessive as Akanishi irl, but I quite like his character and how "steadily" he planned to bring out Ryo's love for him.
They're both bad people in a similar way, and tbf it's a good thing they have eachother for good now, since that means no one else gets caught in that crossfire ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ but I still really enjoy seeing them be mushy with eachother. That's what love is about ig, everyone gets their shot at it lol
My main gripe with this is that Ryo's "encounter" with those men is moreso a jealousy bait than anything else, even when the whole of ordeal was very exploitative of Ryo. But other than that, I really enjoyed the storytelling and the portrayal of the characters-- Akanishi's smile was coniving and sweet all at once, I loved it.
