He started liking her when she told him to live for himself and not for anyone else, not when she changed. His whole life was living as a facade, but he started to live for himself when she told him that.
He recognized that she wasn’t really being herself and drew a line between them, but still wanted to be there for her. He didn’t recognize those feelings till later, and agonized that he didn’t know the true her.
Phil distances everyone cuz she believes that they don’t like her and w nassar, she never even considered that he had feelings till later, and at that point she got so used to not wanting more.
Her relationships are complicated but I think he is one of the people that will help her come to terms with just how much she lived her life by the book. I mean, she literally finally cries out the frustration she had over the years in his arms.
I’m really sticking with this manhwa for Phil but I freaking hate the romance in this manhwa. I have no idea why she trusts him so much, he’s not a bad person but I find it ridiculous that he’s one of the people that only starts caring for her when she changes. The romance feels freaking bad cuz Phil has clearly made it she doesn’t want him but he sticks around and knowing they’ll end up together just makes me feel ehhh.
