I agree. I think this would be so much better if he finally drops that cold facade and starts being better towards them. He acts like he hates them and doesn't give a crap about them. But, I want to bet that's not the case. Even if he hasn't, or just refuses to see it. But these chapters are so short it's going to take forever to get there. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ So hopefully it won't be too much longer. He makes me want to just quit reading this.
valid, but I personally like this kind of flawed mcs. makes the drama spicier. And tbf he is supposed to be self-centered, as per his character profile in ch 1 (and summary). it's consistent at least; we are first clued in to his pragmatic attitude when he practically brushed off the SA by the twins, which indicates he sees sex not as an intimate act of love, but a means and a tool. for him it wasnt so much an serious act of violation, but an annoying inconvenience his friends caused him... which also happen to benefit him immensely. he trust them, and they trust him. they already seen him drunkenly piss on himself, so what more if he fuck them? their bond is strong enough that SA wasnt that big of a deal; if they apologize, it's enough. (tho, im a bit uncomfortable he's planning to two-time the red-head...)
it's fucked and hypocritical that he's gauging people's value to him based on the beneficts they could bring him, but in a dog-eat-world it's kinda unrealistic for him to remain upright and indifferent when he is so desperate to gain status/power. and i doubt we are half-way thru the story yet, so too soon to say the twins are better than him. tho whether mc will get a satisfying comeuppance and chara growth, im not sure.

Idk it just doesn’t sit right with me seeing how sincere the twins are about him, and he’s just using them as power up tools.
