For me, the sequel was better even than the original. And the original was already so good. The seme’s (i.e Kyouichi’s) monologues. It’s like poetry. This is just a Masterpiece and I was balling my eyes out in Chapter 3 and 4.
And the fact that love could be so painful. Not at all like it is in the movies. This continuous trying to build a bridge between two people that could never actually truly understand how the other feels. Or the depth of their love. Or trying to communicate the depth of our love to them. Fuck me.
The reality is that for all of us, no matter how much we love someone we can never know how they truly feel because they are an individual. But we try so hard to close the gap. Even though we know it’s impossible. But we still try. Because of love.
One thing confuses me though. In Chapter 4 page 153 to 157 - whose words were those? It definitely started off as the seme’s (Kyouichi’s) but did it end with the uke’s?
