The author made it a "happy ending" bcz it's fictional but in real life it's an abusive relationship and the seme is a narcissist and a psychopath who in reality would never fall in love...may pretend but never actually fall in love. No wonder we r getting brainwashed by every other story glamorizing toxic relationships.
