Hmm, I agree that the author seems to favor Gray, but to be honest, this is pretty balanced when it comes to interactions between him and the Knight. Their relationships are just different. The duke is the one that's lagging a bit behind and I can't blame the author for that considering the Duke carries the stigma of that devastating first episode. Even if it technically never happened and he's dedicated to MC now, its hard to erase the cheating arc in the readers eyes, so I understand the author giving the character time to breathe and readers time to get it out of their mind.
Like it seems like if the MC was going to have to pick one, he’d go with Gray - there seems to just be more of a focus on Gray and MC interactions, and when we do get interactions with The Duke and knight, it seems to be them together?? Or those interactions get cut short/interrupted by Gray? Idk, I wish there was just more time with good solid interactions between each ML and MC. Kinda disappointing
