I *THINK* in the first life, he raised edgar w love and ended up betrayed by him?
I doubt he has memories of his first life. He might be referring to one of his brothers, or maybe Edgar's father? Or did I skip the part where it was hinted that he may have his memories from his past life? (I'm genuinely curious too)
Yeah i read the spoiler and the reason why edgar raised his sword against him bcs he confined the mc and killed her sisters
Not sure about this tho, but i think he was paranoid or some sort?? Bcs in the past yk edgar did end up betrayed him.
He does in the part where he says “if a child I raised with love turned his sword against me I don’t think I’d be able to handle that heart break a second time” you see pictures of Edgar pointing his sword at him. I think the reason why Edgar did so was because he was becoming a tyrant due to how infatuated he was with the og red haired fl, causing him to kill people including Lilliana and her sisters. And despite him knowing why Edgar “betrayed” him he can’t bring himself to love him the same after the feelings he felt when he saw Edgar in the first time line trying to kill him
