I don't know why everyone in the CS is hating on the mc for giving distance. He's literally feeling himself falling in love with ahjussi to the point that he's about to confess at random moments.. something ahjussi STRESSED he didn't want in their relationship. Of course, he'll try to move on.
Should he try confessing first? Maybe. But the only reason we know that might work for him is bkoz we're reading the story.
