Smh is she still biased? I've been marinating since ch.20 cuz it was so rage-inducing. If they wanted to make her so biased then they should've just thrown out her back story of being familiar with crime cases for working in law firm. Sure she's scared cuz she might die, I get it but omg she's so biased for someone who worked in court. honestly she got better in the middle once she fell in love so started going through the evidence logically but recent chapter set us back a little , I think I’d wait another few chapters before picking it up again you’re right author shouldn’t have wasted their time giving her that backstory

John being the only one thinking with reason and he isn’t even the one with lawyer experience. Love how she talks about her romantic feelings getting in the way but from the start way before she even liked the duke she’s let her feelings make every decision, she hasn’t bothered to investigate anyone else from the Adler family or close ppl around him bcuz her mind had been dead set on the fact it was him. If anything she was more biased before she liked the duke and was finding every reason to put the blame on him when investigating
