Its weird but back in the day if the elder brother died, leaving behind a wife and children and the younger brother was single the brother has a sort of duty to marry his sister in law, take her children as his and be the provider... which ye sure there's purpose to it but still very weird. Not to mention it was common practice which was even more weirddddd
