I think it’s because he initially started liking him because he was his ideal type a “petite” softy boy from what he saw. But once their relationship started getting more intimate Tae realized Xinlu was far from that. which suprised him I guess and he wasn’t really going for that and was disappointed, it was like he was hiding another personality or hidden side of him.Unlike Ilay everyone knows he’s a vicious person and has a shitty personality so tae knew what he was getting himself into, technically he had no choice tho..

That's true, why DIDN'T Taeui choose him? Considering all he's better than whatever Ilay is. Maybe I've been reading the whole thing with my eyes closed, but I really don't understand why Taeui stoped liking Xinlu.. @_@
