Because she do this often , she created this manhwa 4 years ago, but we only has 68 chapter , so .. we can count already how many chapter she update in every year.
This conspiracy theory has some weight to it, like I think after this chapter is when things between Dan and JK are gonna start turning around/getting better. So her going on hiatus for 2-3 months is definitely gonna build a bunch of hype for chapter 70. I’m suspicious of her now, lol
yes exactly even she might actually take hiatus for some important reason, the timing and her previous records definitely make it logical for the readers to believe so

yk i won't say i agree on her faking the hiatus, it's just the timing is too perfect, cannot disagree though the mingwa is a great marketeer, she knows how to sell her thing, mainly because even if people don't necessarily like the story they still keep coming to check on it (me included) putting a hiatus here at a crucial point, not only piques interests of the readers but also the non readers as well, yea the story is god awful but she knows people like a pretty face and often it is enough to pull through ( would i recommend jinx? no, do i still read it regardless of my dislike for the story? yes )
