It is dark, but realistic. That's why money is the root for evil

Yutori, the sweet, innocent girl and the Mother who he killed himself, those who seemed so pure, was the first person I suspected to be both the traitors.

First..of, he loved his Mom so much so why would he kill her?.. it became a question to me after knowing he killed her Mom himself.

Second.. Yutori is not as innocent as she is. Given she's part of the game, it made me think she's not innocent after all, especially when she had a dark past of bullying, and being harassed. You know.. being a victim of both can really make a person insane. I doubted her since she's innocent but acts so "lewd" sometimes..I mean a decent one won't act so lewd even if it's the person she likes. To the pont that she's be like showing off her breasts and all, and it really annoyed me that despite everything, she chose not to help and let Yuichi's finger cut off. I'm like bitch, you're useless. Naive and useless. Too naive to begin with like.."what?!"
I doubted it was Shiho behind the "woman" voice because that'll be too dumb on her side. And Shiho isn't dumb like they say, she's good at manipulating so why the hell she'll just expose herself? Like really? Exposing herself by orchestrating that abduction? Like announcing: " yeh you fools, it's me."
That's a very fool, naive and predictive move someone "behind" (master/traitor) of the game would do.

And then I was fully sure when she herself the "innocent" one went to the old man cause she's controlled. "See the future" who the hell would believe that? What is she. A kid? Despite everything they've been through she'll really believe that skill? And she's too lustrous towards Yuichi. From that time. I knew it, she is "too suspicious and just acting".

Given all the stories of betrayal that I've read and seen, it didn’t shock me anymore. It’s a hard truth to swallow. It might come off as overly dramatic to some, but if you’ve never truly felt the sting of betrayal, the weight of being deceived, then all of this might just seem like an overblown story. It's betrayal and deceit that makes people do evil. And mostly the answer leads to revenge or believing in an illusion.

The way the manga explores the tension between money and friendship? It’s real. It’s almost like a mirror to love itself.
What good is wealth if you’re alone in life? What’s the point of endless riches if you have no one to share them with? You’ll die with your money, but you’ll die alone. No man is an island. And similarly, how can you live fully without money to sustain you? The question of which is more important: money or friends? is a vast one. If you want revenge, if you want success,if you want to live without worries, you need money. It’s part of the equation, but it’s not the entire equation. Success isn’t about what you have, but what you perceive success to be. The definition varies on how you can even say you're successful to begin with

Yuiichi’s story is one of a villain who chose to become a villain, but also one who remains a hero in his own right. That’s why his journey is dark, complex, and fascinating. It’s like Itachi’s choice to massacre his entire clan. One tragic, difficult decision that changed everything.

The truth is, in this world, so much is uncertain. If Yuichi hadn’t killed his mother, the sibling he was protecting would have grown up to be a monster like him, but his time raised by another monster: his mother.
In his mind, he had to end it, because he couldn’t bear the thought of the person he’d loved all his life being nothing but a money loving liar of a woman. Sometimes, to prevent a worse fate, you have to take drastic action. But he did it in a way that feels sinful and unforgivable. Who can blame him, though, when you realize the person you trusted most in the world isn’t who you thought they were? He was just a kid confused, broken, used by adults who treated him like a pawn. He is intelligent and a swindler but still, he's just a kid. And what do kids need? A parent. A parent to guide him. And then it turned out the mom he treasured the most, the one who made his broken insane self hoped that there is beauty in life, made him question friends and money: a despicable woman whose deceitful and in the end chose money, who would not go insane?

But in the end, maybe Yuiichi’s role was to show us that even in the darkest, most sinful acts, there’s a sliver of beauty. We might not always see it, but it’s there, hidden. And it’s our job to find that small spark of goodness and hold onto it, and maybe change the course of fate.

And always money is the root of evil
