from the gokurakugai reddit: "The guy is teasing him be he cares about kids, in japanese he calls him a lolicon, it's not supposed to be that serious or dark as the english translation makes it seem."
that makes sense,I was thinking about it being a joke. but the eng translation was just to weird
i agree i was also scared what they meant since he was starting to become one of my fave characters
