Yeah, I think they did. Cuz like, it's said in one of the newest ch. is that they(humans) got abandoned by the gods so the humans in present time had to rely on people who had god's blessing, hence, the gifted summoneds.

I like the plot an stuff. But there is just one thing I don't get. Like why are there are no heros in the present and they resurrect the ones from the past? Did humans just became weaker with time or did I miss smth? ┗( T﹏T )┛
