More than half the comments of this entire comment section are about the age gap, I agree some people will be uncomfortable and deserve to make their feelings known but I also wanted to see more interesting discussions about the plot and the characters unfortunately.
Till ch13 the author hasn't sexualized Jongwoo is any way(I don't consider his blood drinking dreams sexual) at all, I don't even remember him seeing shirtless lol I'm glad that Changdeok sees him as just a kid and even after getting confessed his feelings don't change at all and the author doesn't show him getting flustered or giving thoughts about his feelings a single bit. He's 18 now so they'll probably get together after a time skip or something.
I keep seeing comments questioning why the author didn't make him a college student, I think the story would change drastically if he was older. The age gap is one of the most important plot points of the story imo, sometimes even the vampire stuff seems like an afterthought lol. The author discredited a lot of popular tropes of vampirism. The age gap is there to create more conflict and angst in the story, and this kinds of relationships happen all the and not every time the older one is a bad person (like Changdeok). I don't think the author is fetisizing it, I feel that she's treating the topic with respect, at least till the newest update.
(I know ironic of me to also discuss the same topic after my first paragraph but if someone is conflicted about this, I was hoping they would agree with some of my points and be more open to continue the story)
Ohh yeahh like making him a college student would totally ruin the plot cause no way someone is taking in a college student into their house thinkinh they are too hopeless
