thats because unofficial novel translations doesnt know the difference between gendered terms in korean. When I first read it I was having an aneurysm over whether major lee was a female or just a really feminine looking man.

Usually it's because they use mtl and the editor doesn't care enough to qc and fix the result. It's a damn shame :/
